  • "I want to let you know and thank the people for what a great job they all did in getting four G-Forces repaired over the holiday. Our customer had given us a week and a half to take down the units, repair them and have them back in service.

    "Joe Bia met my service people at Gorbel on Saturday before the Christmas holiday (he was on vacation) to receive the G-Forces, so that Rick, Sharon, and Steve would have them bright and early after the holiday. They had the G-Forces repaired ahead of schedule, so the tooling company could install and test the tooling on a Friday afternoon and we (the distributor) could install the unit at the end customer's facility the following day.

    "That was service above and beyond the call of duty - but it gets better. The tooling company inadvertently hooked up one G-Force to 480/3/60 electrical supply as they were testing the tooling. We installed three units at the customer's facility on Saturday and dropped off the "smoked G-Force" at Gorbel at 7am Monday morning, the day before the deadline. The crew had the G-Force repaired by noon of that day and we were done with the install of the last unit by 5 pm, ahead of the deadline."


  • "I work as a Gorbel distributor in Atlanta. Late last week we ran into a problem where we had some incorrect end trucks on a job site and it required replacement product to be shipped very quickly as our crew was ready to leave the job site and needed to fix the problem quickly before they left.

    "We couldn't have completed the job without the hard work of Traci Hoppough. In today's realm of customer service , it's hard to find good people that are willing to go the extra step to help. There were a number of questions to be answered and Traci jumped right in and handled it without any problem at all. I was in meetings all day long and was unable to make a few decisions. When she could have taken the approach of 'I can't get in touch with the distributor so I'm just waiting on him', she didn't. She stepped up and made decisions. Traci did a great job of working through the issues and getting the product out the door. I appreciate her effort and the short time it took her to get this done. Because of her efforts, we were able to get the job completed and the customer up and running over the weekend."
