On Thursday, April 19th, a group of Gorbel® employees took part in the United Way’s Day of Caring. They started with a morning rally at the Canandaigua VA and then spent the day volunteering at Light Hill in Canandaigua. Light Hill is a home that provides specialized care for the terminally ill, their families, and loved ones.
The team from Gorbel® helped clear out and spread wood chips on a new walking path around the facility. It was a chilly day, but the manual labor and caring staff at Light Hill helped keep everyone warm. Everyone was impressed and appreciative of the progress made by the Gorbel® Team.
