    Earlier this week my boys were helping me in the garage to prepare the trash and recyclables for the weekly pick-up. As we’re sorting paper, cardboard and plastic, I suddenly let out a “What a waste!” comment.

    I find it hard to believe that almost a decade has passed since my first trip to China. In 2003, I and two Gorbel colleagues traveled to see what the fuss was all about. Two great things happened during that two week trip.

    It’s FrankenStorm Eve here in the northeast USA. I’m sitting in my home as I type this while the rain comes down in buckets and the winds gust about. School for my kids has already been cancelled for tomorrow…so, yes, we are all set to enjoy a make-shift campground in our basement tonight.
