This most recent image came from our Dealer Training presentation. Can you point out what is wrong with this Gantry Crane application?

For the last What's Wrong post, Mark had the correct answer. The rotation stop blocks are incorrectly located.

it is not a gantry anymore, it lacks wheels. As a monorail crane it lacks proper lateral bracing. The hoist fan cover and electrical cover striking the columns due to lack of trolley stops is not correct either.

Power cord is draped over the Gantry beam. Where's the relatively inexpensive tagline?

Load centering will be problematic. The trolley will center transversely to the truck, but the truck must be shifted to center under the hoist in the other direction. Not ideal for significant loads as they will swing when lifted if the truck has not been centered.

With rigging it's not tall enough under hook to remove a load from a truck.. It doesn't need trolley stops, it has posts.

Where are the Casters? Probably should have purchased a Jib Crane instead.

I don't see any trolley stops.
