The Mexican Labour and Social Welfare Ministry’s NOM 036 regarding ergonomic risk factors in the workplace went into effect on January 2, 2020. NOM 036 establishes manual lifting limits depending on the age and gender of the worker, with the goal of reducing health risks that your workers could incur by lifting loads heavier than 7 kg.
