Gorbel® is pleased to share that it has been honored with two Gold Awards at the 2025 Greater Rochester Quality Council (GRQC) Performance Excellence Awards, held on Tuesday, October 21st. These annual awards recognize outstanding achievements in continuous improvement across the Rochester region.
This year, the GRQC received many submissions from organizations showcasing impactful projects in Team Excellence, Organizational Excellence, and Customer Experience. Gorbel® entered two submissions for the Team Excellence category – both originated from the Gorbel® Excellence Initiative (GEX).
The award-winning Gorbel® projects were:
- Supply Chain Improvements
Submitted by Chad Adler, Director of Supply Chain
This project focused on driving improvements to sustained quality, delivery, cost, and innovation across all supply chain functions.
- Continuous Improvement Idea System
Submitted by by Chris Adams, Director of Overhead Solutions Manufacturing, on behalf of the Manufacturing Team
This initiative aimed to further empower employees to contribute their ideas, fostering a culture of engagement and continuous improvement across the company.
A team of 20 Gorbel® employees attended the ceremony to represent the company and share their work with attendees through a dedicated display area. The event also featured a video presentation from the GRQC, where both Chad and Chris provided overviews of their submissions.
We are incredibly proud of our employees whose hard work and insightful ideas went into these projects, and those who collaborated with the GRQC during the evaluation process – thank you for making Gorbel® a place where excellence is always in motion.
