As part of our ongoing efforts to provide “A Class Above” experience in all aspects of our business, we have recently added two new directors to the Gorbel® Leadership Team.
Ravi Alluri, Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement
Ravi Alluri recently started as Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement. In this position, Ravi is responsible for defining and implementing Gorbel®’s Quality and Continuous Improvement programs across the organization. Ravi is also responsible for creating the necessary supporting organization including the future addition of a Quality Engineer and a Supplier Quality Engineer, as well as directly managing the existing continuous improvement and documentation control team. This position marks a tremendous opportunity for our organization to further advance the cultural shift to dramatically improve the business via more robust and standardized processes.
Ravi has a degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He is trained in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques. He enjoys working in a team environment to solve complex problems. Ravi most recently worked in a Supply Chain Planning and Strategy role at Corning, Inc. where he was responsible for Sales & Operations Planning and Long-Term Strategy for one of the businesses.
Jesse Baker, Director of Customer Service
Jesse Baker recently started as Director of Customer Service. In this role, Jesse focuses on the continuous assessment of current Gorbel® Customer Service technology, quoting processes, training protocols, and Voice of Customer feedback to define, recommend and implement improvements that consistently improve Customer Satisfaction scores and the customer experience. In conjunction with the Customer Service Supervisors, Jesse will develop, plan, lead, implement and direct customer order processing, ensuring the highest levels of customer responsiveness and service.
Jesse has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has also earned certifications as a Master Black Belt in Transactional Process. Improvements (TPI) and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) with additional credits from Harvard Online Business School in Business Analytics.
